DAY 5 – MAUI • FULL DAY OF LEISURE » SUNSET COCKTAIL CRUISE After breakfast, ask your tour leader for suggestions today. Try a hula lesson...or how about a ukulele lesson? Afraid to jump off the world-famous “Black Rock “cliff? Then just watch the kids do it. There’s also fantastic snorkeling along its base—like swimming in the world’s best tropical fish tank! Later this afternoon, we board our smooth catamaran for a sunset cruise. Enjoy Tradewind sailing with phenomenal views of West Maui, Molokai and Lanai. Included are hot and cold hearty pupus with maitais, beer, sodas, a great crew that’s at your service. If it’s whale season, mid- December thru mid-April, perhaps we’ll be lucky to see a humpback or two. DAY 6 – MAUI • MORNING AT LEISURE » HAWAIIAN LUAU & SHOW Another glorious day in paradise! After a day of leisure, bring your appetites to our Hawaiian Luau Spectacular! It’s the hottest show on the island. Our luau takes you on a journey through the islands of Polynesia. Witness the authentic dances and music of Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tahiti and Hawaii. Enjoy an open bar and an all-you-can-eat traditional luau featuring a superb combination of Hawaiian specialties, at one of the best luaus the state of Hawaii has to offer. DAY 7 – MAUI TO KAUAI TOUR IAO VALLEY » FLIGHT TO KAUAI » FREE AFTERNOON » DINNER AT THE GRAND HYATT KAUAI Prior to our departure for the “Garden Isle”, we’ll take a short stop at one of the gems of Maui-Iao Valley. Take in the famous “Needle” and unbelievable sight and sounds that you definitely will never forget! Later, we’re off to Kauai, the “Garden Island”. Our home for the next three nights is the deluxe Grand Hyatt Kauai. It is not just brochure language to say this is one of the finest resorts in the world! The rest of the afternoon is all yours. And you’ll spend the next three days filled with sunshine, swimming in sparkling pools or just exploring our hotel’s lush manicured grounds. This evening, you’ll love dining at Tidepools, where contemporary island cuisine is served. As always, great wine, soft drinks and tips are included. DAY 8 – KAUAI • FULL DAY AT LEISURE » OPTIONAL HELICOPTER TOUR A free day to “hang loose” on the Garden Island! An Option: Real excitement aboard a six-passenger jet-powered helicopter at very special discounted rates. You’ll see amazing panoramas that are otherwise inaccessible. Your tour director will be happy to advise you of other available activities. Dinner is on your own tonight. DAY 9 – KAUAI • KAUAI MOVIE TOUR » À LA CARTE DINNER TONIGHT A Kauai Movie Tour adventure for young and old, movie buffs and nature lovers! You’ll visit many famous sites on Kauai where Hollywood Blockbusters and TV shows were filmed. Your backstage pass will take you to scenic locations with your guide and you’ll even view clips of those notable films. Have lunch on your own in beautiful Hanalei Town and visit Tahiti Nui, where the George Clooney film “The Descendants” was filmed. You’ll enjoy this unique tour that truly showcases Kauai’s most beautiful locales and scenic locations. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy another spectacular dinner with wine at Zagat’s 2009 “Best Restaurant on Kauai” - Tidepools. Bon appétit! DAY 10 – KAUAI » FLY HOME Today, our “Three Islander” tour will end with a transfer to Kauai’s Lihue airport. Your tour will end after breakfast this morning. Mahalo, and please join us again soon! If you have booked our “4 Islander”, the fun continues on the “Big Island” (technically called Hawai’i). So this morning, we’re off to its capital city of Kona. THE THREE-ISLANDER TOUR ENDS TODAY. THE 13-DAY FOUR-ISLANDER TOUR CONTINUES ON! DAY 10 – KAUAI FLIGHT TO KONA ON THE BIG ISLAND Upon our arrival on the Big Island, we’ll check into the Fairmont Orchid Hotel. DAY 11 – TOUR OF VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK » VOLCANO WINERY WINE TASTING & LUNCH After our great Fairmont breakfast, we explore Volcanoes National Park, including the currently active flows of Kilauea and Mauna Loa, two of the most active volcanoes in the world. Imagine watching your island grow larger as the lava spews from the bowels of the earth and cools into future fields and forests. Don’t touch the lava...it’s hot!
