MISCELLANEOUS. Foreign air-conditioning systems in public places, hotels and motorcoaches are not up to U.S. standards. If due to weather, flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors, you are required to spend an additional night(s), you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs. The right is reserved to decline, to accept or retain any person as a member of these trips at any time. In any such event, Perillo Tour’s sole obligation is to refund for any unused accommodations or other trip features. Passenger certifies not to have any mental, physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for himself/herself or other passengers. ITINERARY CHANGES. Perillo Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary or trip features at any time and for any reason, with or without notice and/or to substitute airlines, hotels or features of a similar category for those listed in this brochure. Perillo Tours shall not be liable for any such changes. CANCELLATIONS BY PERILLO TOURS. From time- to-time a tour departure may be cancelled for lack of participation or other operational reasons. In such a case, Perillo Tours’ sole responsibility is to provide a complete refund of monies received without any other liability whatsoever including any additional costs or fees related to cancellation of airline tickets or other travel reservations not made by Perillo Tours. BINDING ARBITRATION. I agree that any dispute concerning, relating, or referring to these Terms and Conditions, this release, the catalog, or any other literature concerning my trip, or the trip itself shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration according to the then existing commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association in New Jersey. Such proceedings will be governed by substantive New Jersey law. The arbitrator and not any federal, state, or local court or agency shall have exclusive authority to resolve any dispute relating to the interpretation, applicability,enforceability,conscionability,orformation of this contract, including but not limited to any claim that all or part of this contract is void or voidable. Upon payment of a deposit, tour participant indicates acceptance of the above Terms and Conditions and of the Arbitration Agreement. OPTIONAL TOURS. Traditionally, tour directors make availableforpurchaseaseriesofoptionalexcursionsand other activities to fill in free days and evenings. You are under no obligation to take any; they are strictly optional. Dependingonthetour, ifyouavailyourselfofalloptionals, the total will be approximately $200 to $600 per person. **COLOSSEUM . On the days when the Colosseum entrance is free and in the event that we cannot buy tickets to enter, we will do the tour of the archaeological park of the Colosseum with a visit of the Colosseum from the outside. Roman Forum-Palatine and Imperial Fora gives you access to the new route, which allows you to visit the archaeological heart of Rome in about two hours: the Roman Forum, the Imperial Fora and the Palatine. Also included in the ticket is a visit to the SUPER sites, unique places in the world whose special visit allows you to get to the core of Roman art and civilization through immersive technologies and fascinating virtual narrations. An itinerary through the Roman Forum and the Palatine, connected by the Domitian ramp, which will lead visitors to discover ancient painting from the Augustanage,withtheHouseofAugustus(fromTuesday to Sunday), to the late ancient and early medieval age with the Temple of Romulus, Santa Maria Antiqua and the Oratory of the Forty Martyrs. On Saturday, Sunday and Monday it will also be possible to enter the Curia Iulia, the ancient seat of the Roman Senate. NEW TRAVEL REQUIREMENT FOR 2025 ETIAS. Starting sometimes in 2024 (official date TBA), visitors from the United States will be required to complete an online application form to enroll in the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS)beforeentering30Europeancountries, including Italy. This new system will help enhance security protocols while making the entry process smoother for travelers. Application process is quick and easy to complete, and the fee is 7 euros and will be valid for 3 years or until your passport expires. Cancellation charges are baed on the number of days from the time Perillo Tours is notified of your cancellation, to the start of the services provided—whether air and land or just land services. GUESTS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE. We regret that wecannotprovideindividualassistancetoatourmember for walking, dining, getting on and off motorcoaches and other transportation vehicles, or other personal needs. Travelers who need such assistance must be accompanied by a qualified companion. ACTIVITY LEVEL. These tours include moderate physical activity. Walking tours as well as walking on uneven walking surfaces/cobblestone roads should be expected. SINGLE ROOMS. A limited number of single rooms are available at the supplement rate shown for each tour. Single rooms are sometimes smaller than double rooms. TRIPLE ROOMS . Available on most tours. They usually consist of a twin bedded room with an additional folding bed or cot for the third person. This may not be comfortable for three adults. RESPONSIBILITY. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, payment must be made by certified bank check or credit cards. For bookings made within 21 days of departure, you will be charged the cost of sending documents by express mail. PRICES. All prices are subject to increase up to the receipt of final payment due to any increase in our costs, such as, but not limited to: increases in air, land or sea fares, fuel cost, and currency fluctuations. All taxes, fuel surcharges, security charges and any other taxes or charges imposed by airlines, airports, cruise lines, governments, etc. are not included in price. In case of printing, typographical error, computer error, verbal or human billing error, we reserve the right to invoice or re-invoice participants with corrected billing. TICKET REVISION FEE. Once air tickets are issued, a minimum $300 ticket revision fee will apply for any changesontheticket,whatsoever,fromtheoriginalyou supplied to us (plus the cost of express mail charges). This charge may not be covered by travel insurance. HOLIDAYS AND CHANGES. During local or national holidays abroad, certain facilities such as museums, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited. In such instances, and whenever possible, itinerary adjustments may be made by Perillo Tours to minimize inconvenience to tour members. If however, your enjoyment might be diminished by such limitations, please check with the appropriate tourist office before selecting a departure. Holidays, closing days and other circumstances may change the day of the week for scheduled“diningout,”sightseeingandotheractivities. ITINERARY CHANGES. Please note that the days of city tours may change for operational reasons without advance notice. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS. United States citizens require a valid passport when traveling to Europe and Central America. Non-citizens have other requirements which should be checked immediately. BAGGAGE. Each tour member is limited to one large suitcaseandonesmallcarry-ondueto limitedbaggage area on buses. Some airlines are now charging for all checked luggage as well as overweight suitcases.
